About LaunchSite OS
Coaching software, with clear data boundaries.
LaunchSite OS, LLC provides a connected workspace for health, fitness, and nutrition coaches. Here is how the platform handles access, health files, and connected services, and where to find the policies and people to contact with a question.
The foundation
How information is protected and used
Managed cloud infrastructure
LaunchSite OS runs on shared cloud infrastructure. Encrypted connections, application authorization, and database access policies protect the separation between coaching workspaces.
Access tied to the record
Client ownership and permitted team access determine who can reach a record. Database row-level policies and server-side checks enforce access beyond what is visible in the interface.
Separate coach and client roles
Authenticated roles distinguish coach tools from client tools. Server-side authorization checks the caller and their permitted records before carrying out a protected operation.
Private health files
Client health files are kept in private storage. Authorized users receive time-limited access when they need to view a file, rather than a permanent public download link.
Clear AI data boundaries
AI features may send relevant information to the providers named in our published disclosures. A coach-connected external AI app also receives the tool results it requests under that connection’s permissions.
Published data-handling policies
Our privacy policies explain the information used to provide the service, its purposes, and request channels. The public subprocessor list identifies the vendors that process information for the platform.
Security & Privacy
Security & privacy, built in
LaunchSite OS supports coaching and wellness workflows. Access controls, encryption, and private file storage are part of the system; using AI or connecting another service can also involve processing outside LaunchSite OS, as described in our published policies.
Secure by default
Encryption, access control & private storage
Wellness toolEncrypted connections and storage
HTTPS protects data in transit, and the managed database encrypts stored data at rest.
Record-level authorization
Ownership and permitted team access are checked when protected client records are read or changed.
Private file access
Protected health files are served through authenticated, time-limited access.
Connection controls
A coach can revoke an individual external AI connection in Connected AI settings.
Scoped AI tools
An AI request is subject to the authorizing coach’s role, record access, and supported capabilities.
Vendor transparency
The subprocessor list describes each provider’s purpose and whether a coach or client must enable the connection.
LaunchSite OS supports adult wellness coaching. We do not offer a BAA or support workflows requiring one. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Our providers and their roles are published on our subprocessor list.
